Tanzania Makuyuni Boma MamaPower: Establishing a Healthy Community

Reproductive Health Education – a key priority for the Makuyuni Maasai Health Committee. The ICO project to offer Mamas in the community education about their menstrual cycles, sexually transmitted infections, domestic violence, and their legal rights.

The one-day workshop also provides each attendee a locally made reusable menstrual kit. Access to these kits means Mamas are able to complete their daily work all days of the month, which is life changing for them and their families.
