Due to the pandemic there has been no football activities for 2020.
According to worldometers.info, Cambodia currently has 362 cases of COVID-19 and zero deaths. From those cases 319 have recovered. The population of Cambodia is 16.25 million (2018 data).
It was reported on December 2nd that Campa Pich Hotel, which is the main hotel in Snoul, Kratie where ICO volunteers usually stay at was shut down due to one case of COVID-19 positive. The person tested positive was a guest who had caught the virus elsewhere, but since he stayed at the hotel on the night of December 1st the hotel was shut down and over 60 staff were tested. All staff texted negative.
The news of this case caused a bit of anxiety for many of our friends and contacts in the community. However, they have been informed that it was an isolated case where the guest caught the virus in another community and everyone at Champa Pich Hotel tested negative.
