Being able to leave home comfortably to go to the market to sell products, to go to school, to participate in training and to attend meetings is a necessary part of life for women and girls. We are excited to share that as a result of the research done over the last several months, the Community Health Committee created NashPads. The primary goals of NashPads is to develop a sustainable way to ensure every woman and girl in the community has access to information about menstrual cycles, pregnancy, and STDs and has access to a reusable menstrual kit. A key function of Nashipads is education. Please listen to the insights of two of the girls in the community as they share what they are learning.
