May 2024 Tanzania Visit 

During my recent visit to Bukoba town in NW Tanzania I was able to meet with two orphans in this initiative.  David is in the second year of a three-year IT program at St Joseph’s university in Dar es Salaam. He is doing well academically and is hoping to obtain a scholarship to do graduate studies in data analytics and machine learning.

Janeth is in the equivalent of our grade 8. She continues to work hard and to progress. Janeth’s academic abilities suggest she will enter a trade school – perhaps tailoring – after grade 10. As can be seen from the photo, she is a lovely young lady.

Faith, with whom I was not able to meet, is in the second year of a three-year business and economics program at a university in Dar es Salaam and is doing well.
