For the first time in Nashipay history, nine students – seven girls and two boys, who started school in 2013 – wrote their Class 7 National exams. Thanks to the bursary program, all of these children were able to stay in school and get a good educational foundation. We anticipate when the results are issued in December, our first graduating class will do very well. Success on the Class 7 exams means they are eligible to go on to secondary school. The school leadership team is looking for placements and sponsors, and four of the nine now have secondary school spots. This is a huge accomplishment for the students, their teachers and Nashipay Maasai School. Congratulations to all!!
