All 3 orphans remaining in the program (one individual has left) were successful on country-wide government exams that qualified them for the next stage of their education.

Janeth, having completed elementary school, will begin her first year at the Kolping High School on Jan 1st. It is ranked among the top 10 high schools in the country.

Both David and Happy have been accepted at university. David is studying computer science and Happy is working towards a business and economics degree. They are in different universities in Dar es Salaam, about 1,000 km from their home in Bukoba.

Costs for both David and Happy will increase significantly in 2023 as university is expensive and living costs in Dar are quite a bit higher than those in Bukoba.
