We have had several additional hurdles to overcome with the pandemic but are now excited to be back in full swing with this initiative. Currently we are working to finalize the agreement between our Kenyan partners, and sort out the legal paperwork. We aim to have a lot purchased by the end of 2021 and commence construction early next year.

We want to celebrate our volunteer and donor, Helen Whitaker, who has been nominated for International Optician of the Year. She has been an amazing asset to our team and hosted an eye clinic in Kawangware in 2018, providing many children with glasses so that they can do their best in school. We wish Helen the best of luck!!
