We want to thank everyone for their generous donations and pledges which have helped get us to this point. It is our goal in early 2021 to attain land so that we can start with construction. Originally our plan was to go to Kenya so that we could help with the early stages of construction, however in current times we must adapt and find other ways to move forward.
Along with the assistance of our trusted team of Kenyans we will look to acquire the land remotely so that we can still proceed with our goal of providing a safe haven for the children. The recent pandemic has brought forward the immense importance of providing an escape for the children, as food shortages, difficulty finding work and a lack of food and sanitation is hitting the slums particularly hard.
