ICO once again is partnering with the Regional municipal government and the Lahachowk farmer association on a new section of an irrigation canal. The section is in a particularly steep and overgrown area and thus the walls of the canal are over twice the height of the previous section ICO has been involved with. Additional rebar and cement forms are required to secure the walls as much as possible. Trying to ‘control’ the flow of mother nature is a massive undertaking in this challenging landscape.
