Run for Tomorrow Team Saddened by Events in Boston

OTTAWA – Several Run for Tomorrow athletes and ambassadors were on the course today at the Boston Marathon running to support the upcoming 200-day, relay-style marathon around the world. Sadly, a day of celebration and achievement has been clouded by the alleged attacks at the Boston Marathon.

“Our hearts are with the families and friends of those affected by this tragedy,” said founder Malcolm Anderson, who was participating in the Boston Marathon today. Anderson, who was unharmed in the alleged attacks, said he is deeply saddened by the events.

“On behalf of the Run for Tomorrow team I would like to express our deepest condolences.”
